at the seaside.
The tide was high, the Oystercatchers, Sandlings and Gulls were feasting at the waters edge . . .
Thanks for looking in.

Seeing oystercatchers is a high spot of the day! You have a lovely lot of them there. Nice shot of the waves too - not always easy to catch the just at the right time! Timed just right in pic no !Now how about a sound track, lol...

Thanks everyone for looking in - we sometimes take living by the sea for granted - then we realise how wonderful it is to be so close to the coast. The sound of the crashing waves - the smell of the sea - lovely!

Love these photo's Shirley, and we too, were lucky enough to have some lovely walks along the beaches at Exmouth, and Budleigh Salterton last week on holiday, and it was so calm and warm, but it was similar to this at Sidmouth, we almost got blown away ! We didn't see any of the lovely birds that you mentioned though :o) I remember you visited all the above too..:o) x

You are lucky to be near the sea! I wish I could go for a lovely beach walk but instead we have lovely mature forest to walk through so I suppose can't complain.... The wind has just picked up and is gusting 30-40 mph so have come inside to get a cuppa and assess whether I will go aout again.... so much to do though.....
