Very nice scenery. I have never been to Wales.The most western point I've ever been is Weston super Mare.

I do have a liking for pre historys' megaliths n burial chambers so the first is of one of the best which is
Pentre Ifan nr Newport, Newport beach, Carreg coetan, around St Davids, St Nons, St Justinians, Botherston, Broadhaven, Barafudle, Temby, Trefin, Abercastle, Fishguard. Plenty to see all round the coast, my kind of place.

PS re pics 2 n 3 you may be able to see the wild Clematis at the bottom of the pic and covering all over. It must be supper hardy as it was all over the dunes and talk about super drainage. No flowers at that time but did like the stems and fancy a bit. Does anyone know instantly what it is pls??

But where are the clems you mention? If they are wild, very large and white, it will be Clematis Vitalba, commonly known as 'Old Mans Beard'

Lu, along the bottom of pic 2 and lost in pic 3, there were tons of them all in amongst the dunes so my guess its they are very hardy ; ) didnt see any flowers as it was a bit soon for that

never been to Pembrokeshire, it looks very picturesque. I also love to paint and this looks a lovely place to do it.

Great photos, Stevie. I've only been to Tenby, didn't get to explore much of this area of Wales before we left the UK. It reminds me a lot of Cornwall, my home county. Thanks for the jaunt! Would be great to know where these locations are.

Brilliant pics Stevie, been all around the Gower Coast up to Aberystwyth. We just loved Fishguard and St Davids..my friend just came back from a few days at Broadhaven..she said its totally unspoiled.
