with most of my more sensitive plants now in here for overwintering. Also did a treatment of vine weevil killer in the trays just to deal with any grub eggs coming out.
Note my new blackberries on sale for £2.99
always time for a sit down and a cuppa
view from the back
toward the back, nice bit of sun
and a nice bit of sun on my face : )

Nice blog. Trying to convince my hubby to let me have his "Polymancave" lol.
I think if I bring too many plants into the house he might cave in.... lol

You have got a lot of room there Stevie, its going to make a lot of difference to your gardening timetable, you enjoy it, I`d be lost without my greenhouses now....

Better than a potting shed eh Stevie?

You've done some useful work this weekend, Mr Terrible :o)
23 Oct, 2011
looks like a great place to have a barn dance ~ would that be a tunnel dance?? or maybe a rave?
23 Oct, 2011
... could be a 'rave in a cave' ...;o)
23 Oct, 2011
im sure it would be and we could all be pickled!!!???
23 Oct, 2011
Glad you've got somewhere to overwinter your plants. I'd love a polytunnel ...

28 Oct, 2011
i love being in the tunnel club too...:-)
29 Oct, 2011
Sticki - I remember ages ago I was taking the dance course - and just loved chacha... it just looks difficult. To be honest - never had a chance to dance chacha after the course, but I am sure we could manage it, lol

i am sure i couldnt! i could cook the refreshments instead?
31 Oct, 2011
Happy sunny daze. I've seen less welcoming living rooms as compared to your poly-cave. Luverly.
1 Nov, 2011
Sticki - you're more than welcome to cook:-) I don't like cooking so it would be nice if you could, lol
1 Nov, 2011
The way things are going it might 'be' my living room soon ; )
1 Nov, 2011
oh, why?
1 Nov, 2011
tusk tusk kasy you havent even 'liked' this and you are busy setting up your own dancing school here!!!
1 Nov, 2011
Just had Nancy dell'olio on the phone, had to turn her away!!!
1 Nov, 2011
oh, haven't I? oh, I am so sorry Stevie... please forgive me and if I could I would 'like' it twice, lol
well - dancing school is not for me... but a little nursery, hmmmm
1 Nov, 2011
oh, no - really? why?
1 Nov, 2011
Im glad you turned her away stevie!! she isnt my favourite.
i would like that little Harry to win!
are you serious about your poly tunnel being your living room stevie?
kasy ~ sounds a good team ~ you do the dancing i do the cooking ~ stevie ~ on camera and lights???
1 Nov, 2011
''are you serious about your poly tunnel being your living room stevie?'' lol well you never know. If you see pics with a sleeping bag in there then get suspicious ; )
1 Nov, 2011
Sounds like good business plan Stickie. not sure about the sleeping bag Stevie... looks like no room for that, lol... don't you like your place anymore Stevie?
1 Nov, 2011
i shall have to watch out for the photos now ~ sounds like a good photo opportunity whether you mean it or not.
1 Nov, 2011
Hope you have a stove up and running Stevie?
I spent some time in an amazing Teepee with a stove, it got jolly warm in there!
1 Nov, 2011
Not yet, not sure how that would do in the polytunnel, might affect the plants in there too much. I have a camping stove though so may make myself a cuppa whilst over there. On the other hand I could just walk back to the kitchen ; )
1 Nov, 2011
true. You need a teepee next door to polytunnel!
1 Nov, 2011
how about one of those yurts? they look very cosy.
1 Nov, 2011
hmm -winter is coming - how about an igloo? lol
1 Nov, 2011
yes that did occur to me, i hope not tho ~ they are only supposed to be used for hunting trips???
1 Nov, 2011
I like the idea of a yurt
1 Nov, 2011
i saw one on the island of Rhum in the Hebrides ~ I reckon if it can stand there it can stand almost anywhere.
1 Nov, 2011
Teepee's are easier to put up/take down!!
2 Nov, 2011
but they would be cold.
2 Nov, 2011
not with a wood burner in it, innit! Will post a pic!
3 Nov, 2011
