It isn't the weather Pam - it's a backward fall down a 7 foot drop and landing on my shoulders :/
Hope you'r not too achey TT

15 Nov, 2011

How you do it I don't know but your rhyming blogs are always good & I like them very much! Just wish I could emulate you!

Why does your jaw ache? Is it toothache or did you receive a swipe from on of your dogs tails? LOL! Hope you get better quickly!

15 Nov, 2011

Hello Hywel .. I hope your back feels better soon ...
My jaw is worse today ... waiting for Thursday and the consultation appointment ...

Great blog ... loved the poem & the pics ... it has brightened a wet, cool spring day over in my little corner of the world. Your dogs are gorgeous too. My little guy always wants to be the star when I am carrying the camera round the garden.

15 Nov, 2011

Hi Dwyllis in the wet New Zealand springtime ...

Many thanks ..
Yes, my dogs are the same as yours, in that they know immediately if I am taking the camera outside... they get quite impatient if I start photographing plants instead of dogs ! Lol...

15 Nov, 2011

Lovely blog, Terra, that's a beautiful Winter Jasmine ... I hope your aching jaw is less painful before too long ... :o)

15 Nov, 2011

Thanks Shirley ...
I have quite a number of Winter Jasmines around my gardens... many grown from cuttings .. :o)

15 Nov, 2011

Oh, well done, Terra ... I need to cover some boring bare fence but am reluctant to use Ivy as the neighbours, lovely though they are, will not take kindly to it coming through their side! ... I already worry about the Ivy growing on the back fence ... keep pulling it back through from the trellis top ... lol! ... Perhaps a Winter Jasmine is the way to go . . . . .

15 Nov, 2011

One of my neighbours grows ivy like a crop ... It invades through my fences ..... yes ... winter jasmine is a good idea, and I've also planted Trachelospermum jasminoides up fences ... some in sun, some in shade...

In the shade, they don't always flower, but make a nice green backdrop... you can see an example of that on the photos of my pergola ..

here is a link ...
... I know you are good at links ;o)

http://www.growsonyou.com/photo/slideshow/210790-roses-inherited-from-my-mother/member/terratoonie

... in this pic. you can see Trachelospermum jasminoides making a nice green "curtain" behind the white bird-bath, and further along the fence I have winter jasmine.

15 Nov, 2011

Always a lovely blog from you Terra, your plants always do you proud and we all know how good the boys are at posing.
Hope you get rid of your jaw-ache asap, something like that always drags you down..

15 Nov, 2011

Thanks Lincslass ...
... the jaw problem has been ongoing for months ... needs to be sorted !!!
Garden and pets are keeping me cheerful :o)

15 Nov, 2011

Lol, Terra ... good at links ... I found the pic and remember it well, many thanks ... but I was probably looking at the Roses at the time! ... It's so lovely not to see the garden fence ... I have Pyracanthas and there is a lovely Montana coming from a garden somewhere along the road ... I think about 4 of us have it but nobody seems to know where it starts from ... lol! ...

15 Nov, 2011

T, don't let it get you down
Make your dentist fix that crown

Er, I got stuck after that and had to go and lie down (that doesn't scan at all)

Hope all goes well at your appointment.

15 Nov, 2011

Thank you Frybo, and, forsooth,
I will sort the painful tooth ...

Hi Rose ...
Thank you... pleased it made you smile :o)

19 Nov, 2011

Hello TT! Lovely blog! Sorry, I'm a lag behind Lizzy this weather, what with this and that. It looks like you'll have to get the gorgeous Conker to wag that great fluffy tail of his a bit harder to sweep all those pesky leaves off your lawn! ;0) I hope you feel better soon.x

20 Nov, 2011

Hi Libet ... Thank you ...
I'm thinking of sending Conker out onto my lawns with his toy carpet sweeper ... to collect up the leaves :o) x

20 Nov, 2011

Your garden and boys are looking great and blooming as ever. Do you think Conker would like to come over here and sweep up all the leaves that seem to blow in through my front door from the street .... Giorgio would willingly share his bowl with him !!

22 Nov, 2011

Hi there Terry60 .. Thanks ...
Lovely to see you back on GoY :o)))
Conker would gladly help with your sweeping ...
And he would cuddle up with Giorgio ;o)

22 Nov, 2011

Oh and tell Conker to bring his earplugs as Giorgio now snores (honestly!) :)

23 Nov, 2011

Lovely photos TT, your garden is looking fantastic as always. Great to be able to really enjoy the Autumn in the garden.

25 Nov, 2011
