LEAF CLEARANCE .. available for hire ...

Oh, TT, yes please! I have just spent 2 hours clearing the leaves from my garden, behind the greenhouse, around all the plants. It's too wet to use the garden vac (and its heavy!) so some help would be lovely - perhaps Millie could become an apprentice too - she certainly needs some expert trainng :)

I suggested this idea to Millie and she has just turned over in 'her' chair and hidden her head under the cushion! I think the answer is 'not even for bonios' :)

Perhaps you could get Truffle and Conker to Essex for 9.30 in the morning please, Tt as I am doing one of my customer's gardens and they have huge Elms lining the pavement outside so I will have my work cut out. Just a little tip for your leaf clearers.........after sweeping, I always run the mower over to clear up the little bits I left with the broom.Blade high, of course!

Hi Tt, I thought I wasn't going to be able to book your services, and then you said lawns were a speciality, which is where the majority of the leaves are, not my leaves though, they're from trees growing down 1 side of my garden the other side of the fence, my leaves get blown into next doors jungle, so never get picked up, Derek.

Most of the leaves my team sweep off our lawns are from neighbour's gardens ... Silver Birch etc ...
... mowing my lawns today helped quite a lot !

Oh dear, wish I'd known earlier. Most of ours are swept already. Can you take advance bookings for next year? We will need them in late spring when the sycamore flowers have fallen off everywhere and again a few weeks later when lots of immature seed pods fall.

Adorable dogs. I love them. I am sure they would do better job than our Mexican gardener. Can they fly to Mexico?

Your clever boys are going to be so busy with everyone's leaves, I daren't ask if they also tackle pine needles, my terrace is thick with golden needles at present but I'd willing double the Bonio rate if they do :o)

My very first garden picture on GoY (over 6 years ago !) is of Conker vacuuming the grass, so he has volunteered to give the same treatment to your pine needles :o)

Desperately needed here Terra, I've tried bribery with my boys but no luck, I even tried shaming them into it by showing them the pics of Team Terra hard at work but that didn't work either, Morgan went to his bed and flopped at just the thought of going outside let alone earning a treat and Brynner said he still prefers pruning to leaf clearance, lol....

well done! ws on the news a few days ago, some London councils think it's more cost-effective to get people to pick the leaves, one at a time, off the trees before they fall. dunno how they worked that one out!

Great blog and photo's Terra..most of our leaves are swept up ..NOW.you tell me! still lots in next doors though,from a birch also..if Conker and Truffle fancy a trip to Yorkshire..? Surely they will be fed up of Bonio's by now...Any other tempting offers they would enjoy,for a change? :o)

thank you ... today's breezes have blown yet another million leaves from next door's birch, so Conker and Truffle have a busy time ahead...
I asked what goodies would tempt them to Yorkshire and they said a warm fire, a hot bath, cheese flavoured nylon bones to grind on, and some milky bics. :o) x

The warmth of a fire,and nibbles are no problem..No bath I'm afraid..would a gentle shower do? :o) x

My dogs can work in small spaces, and they'd be happy to bring their brushes and brooms to your balcony ! :o)

There are moments when I wish someone could pick up the leaves from my balcony as well! We have a few Elms across the road & a few Sycamores a little way down the road from us so when the wind gets up I find lots in the balcony. As they've all - well, almost all, finished for this year it's too late to ask you for their services but perhaps next year? :-))
