At last the sky is blue.
JR’s tassels are waving goodbye to winter …
Garrya elliptica “James Roof”
…………………………………………………………….
There’s evening sun on the camellia buds …
…………………………………………………………….
The heathers are pretty in pink and white …
…………………………………………………………….
… but look closely and find a busy bee …
……………………………………………………………..
Wings spread, the bee takes off laden with pollen …
……………………………………………………………..
Everywhere we can see reassuring signs of new growth.
Conker’s tummy. Bald over winter … now getting hair ! :o)
……………………………………………………………..
More blue sky behind Viburnum bodnantense “Dawn” …
……………………………………………………………..
Yes, signs of springtime are here at last :o)

Then, like buses, four got published all at once. !!! Lol.

14 Mar, 2010
Something weird about GoY this evening, Wagger.
I have another old draft blog on file, and GoY refuses to let me delete that one.
Then I ended up publishing four of this blog....LOL.

TT Though your pics are an encouraging sign that Spring is definitely here, the pic of Conker's tummy is heartwarming. It looks like it's going to be a very nice Summer indeed.

I saw the two Fritillarias and i heard them say
16 Mar, 2010
I saw two Fritillarias in the garden, laden heavily with flowers seemed worried for the spring sun looked so nice and soothing They said any change in the blue sky may lead to wintry snowflakes, harmful for our kids
16 Mar, 2010
Good to have the whole poem, Pg :o)
Hello Arwadoo... Sunny in my gardens today. :o)
16 Mar, 2010
Fantastic photos TT.
Why is spring so wonderfully SPECIAL - my most favourite season by far!!
18 Mar, 2010

18 Mar, 2010
Hi Terry60 and Stroller...
Conker has been helping me in the garden this week..
... Lots of springtime tasks :o)
19 Mar, 2010
lovely little ditty...as i walk around the fields where i live, i feel the hedgrows are as far back as they can, like they are breathing in so as to exhale all the buds for spring.
20 Mar, 2010
Spike milligan claimed that poem, his version was: Spring is sprung, the grass is ris, I wonder where the birdies is. They say the bird is on the wing, but that's absurd, the wing is on the bird. Did he pinch it? naughty Spike:-) I keep seeing lovely pics of heather on here, so I bought some., not as nice:-( Lovely to see Conkers Tum:-))
