That was wonderful TT. It's so nice to see Conker looking well and happy, and enjoying his Easter Bonnet :o))
I haven't looked at GoY for a few days and this is my first comment after resuming. I'm glad it's on your and Conker's blog :o)) xx

I don't think you're the only one with blurry eyes, TT. Seeing Conker looking so well and enjoy wearing his bonnet in the sunshine is just fantastic. Brilliant blog and lovely photos. I managed to take these pictures today, just before the storms arrived !

Conker still has the cheek abscess..you can just see it below his left eye... but otherwise he seems to be doing very well. :o)

Conker looks really gorgeous in that Easter bonnet! :-) He looks a great deal "fluffier" than he did a few months back! I really love this blog, TT! :-) You were lucky to get him to pose for you - he's obviously a very patient dog. How about Truffles? I don't suppose he stayed still long enough for you to get a photo or two of him, I bet!

Was your last photo made up like that, as an arrangement, I mean? Do they all grow together like that? It's a really lovely arrangement & I love it! :-)

Hello Balcony...
Truffle is very lively and I had to take the pics. quickly before the winds and storms came....
...so it was only Conker...Lol.
Yes, it is so encouraging to see Conker looking fluffier.
His hair under his neck is now about 2 inches long. Needs to be about five or six inches when fully grown back.

Ref. the last pic., yes, those flowers all grow together.
You can see another photo of the same arrangement on my recent home page photo, when the blue Chionodoxa were just emerging. :o)

Yes, Conker is a Sheltie...

This time last year, at only five years old, Conker was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer, and he spent most weeks of 2009 undergoing Chemotherapy at a specialist vet clinic.

By Christmas the treatment had made him almost bald, but you can see his hair is now re-growing. He has only a one in ten chance of remaining cancer free, but I pray every day he is a one-in-ten dog :o)

it just doesn't want to heal... needs to drain....

such as "Happy Birthday to You", the "Antiques Road Show" TV theme, "Lovejoy" TV theme, and the theme to the children's TV show starring Pippin the dog... "Come Outside."..LOL.

What upgrades have you done to your computer, TT? A few days ago I made an upgrade on this one I'm using. It was my wife's for about two years then she got a laptop so since then it has been spare. My computer broke down a couple of months ago & so I have been using the "spare" one.

On Wednesday morning I took the plunge at last (I'm not a technically minded person!) & transferred the 2nd Hard Disc Drive (HDD) from my old computer to this one. It all went much more smoothly than I had hoped.

I always fear the worst when I start to "fiddle" around with the innards as I don't really & honestly know what I'm doing! The 2nd disc was being used as a backup & all my photos were on it except the few I had on here plus the 1,500 plus on my mobile phone!

Oh Conker you are a star......and I love your bonnet, Happy Easter to you and yours..xxxx

Hi Skillen. Thanks ! When I was taking these pictures it was VERY windy, blowing Conker's flower bonnet all over the place... and the grey clouds were gathering ready for a downpour... so we had to be QUICK... which meant no Truffle this time...

I reckon Mary and Crocus could fill a few feather duvets between them !
I asked Crocus to hold on to his feathers till the warmer weather arrived, but he didn't listen..LOL.
Conker's fur is really white and wonderful... he is so delighted that I can once again give him a good grooming. He loves being brushed and for many months there was no hair to comb... Happy Easter to you and yours xxx.

Lol....Mary never listens to our advice either ! Looking through the pics on here again think it is photo 9 which shows Conkers soft and flowing fur the best...it is beautiful ! Hasnt he done well...x
