I've also missed some GoY.... working in my gardens, which included hand-scrubbing 150 pavings !

For Christmas, maybe buy your tortoises the Highway Code...

but I guess they snooze through Christmas ..Lol.

hi Gee lovely to see you back and can fully understand being busy and not being able to visit,so glad millie is settled and the training paid off, nothing can be perfect when we have pets but thats life, they sure are worth it though, she looks very happy with her boyfriend there, how cute,i havent had the birds this year now i have casper he is to much the hunter ;o( but iv placed a feeder onto my shed in hope i will get some birds through winter,, lots of tidying up in the garden from now and also my pond which i keep pulling weed out a bit at a time as not to disturb my fish to much, and hoping they survive winter, anyway lovely having you back with your amusing blogs ;o)))

The picture of Millie and her companion is priceless....that look of glee on the face :) Nice to have a companion and getting her all trained up too.

You had a job on to get the trees all chopped up....hope they rot down for you over the winter.

A very happy Millie which is lovely to see, I think you will find lots of us in the same boat Gee,its time of the year syndrome, I myself will never catch up with the photo`s and I am working my way backwards as regards the blogs,lol.
You have had a busy summer and its good to see you back when you have the time, my lawn looks very similar to yours but it goes with the territory, I also have a similar chewed area in my kitchen and Brynner loves the taste of mustard so at the moment we are at a loss as to what to use........

Sanbaz, I was very upset when all the birds disappeared but yesterday I had a bonus, two nuthatches in the garden. I hope to post a pic on the bird site soon.

My fingers are crossed for the tree rotting process to work too, Whistonlass, I don't fancy digging out the roots! Needless to say I found the info on GoY.

I like your idea of working through the blogs, Lincslass, I think I will do the same. Pity the mustard recipe doesn't work for Brynner.

Wondered where you were Gee, now we know and its nice to have you back. I find it hard keeping up with blogs & photos, especially when some folks put 36 photos on at a time, impossible !! I look at a few and then I find I have to come back later. I am away half the week at my daughters so my time is taken up, catching up !!! Lol. Lovely photos Gee. Take care.

Lovely to see you back Gee. Missed your entertaining blogs too, but relieved it was concentrating on Millie that engaged you rather than anything more serious. Sorry Moley is still burrowing around your treasured plot. He obviously likes you as much as the birds do. I thought cats worried them, not boisterous doggies. You can see why some dogs and cats get rehomed. You have to have a lot of patience to get them away from the ways that worried their previous owners. My cousin rehomed a springer spaniel, and unless she took her out for a long walk every day, and she could do her scampering about in the bushes in the park, and chucking herself in the brook etc, life was hell at home. she's a lot quieter now she is older.

Hi Gee so good to see you back, its worrying when people disapppear but pleased your absence was due to Milly, who is looking so happy and healthy. It is difficult trying to keep up with every one, Ive only been away a few days but it will take me awhile to catch up.
