Sun Rise - Sunday 25 April 2010

Yesterday evening my daughter and I planned a visit to a local beauty spot to see the sunrise this morning. Then my granddaughter and her boyfriend decided to join us and, of course, my grandson also came. As I was about to leave this morning, Chloe became stressed (I think she thought I was going away as I don’t usually get up at 4.30am!), so she came along too.

We had the place to ourselves, apart from sheep and cattle. It was beautiful with views across the Romney Marsh. Unfortunately the view wasn’t as clear as we had hoped but we thoroughly enjoyed it and are now planning a sunset visit in the future.

What lovely pics Gee, well worth the effort of getting up early. We used to get up for the dawn chorus, i loved it,sadly can't do it now.

Wow that was worth getting up for Gee ,beautiful ! somebody would have to drag me out by my ankles to get me out that early :o)) and the little calves were so sweet it looks to be a lovely place for walking ..
