The first thing I heard this morning was the sound of heavy rain and it has continued all day…..
Oh well, ending on an optimistic note – at least my newly purchased plants have been well watered in!

My Sunday has been the same havent seen this much rain for a long time my Love Lies Bleeding lies flattened on the ground.

Great pics too. Had a little rain and some sunshine today whilst I was in work but just come in from watering the GH & PS and it looks like it's gonna POUR down. Sky is very heavy and grey:0(

This made great reading Gee19, lovely photos, had to laugh at your comment Megan75. It has been a freezing day here too, heaters back on, stayed inside all day, but then, I did not mind, as I weeded the garden for 3 days, 3 hours at a time, I enjoyed doing nothing today:))

great blog and pics Gee, they all look so wet through poor thing, and sorry your garden in a pool again, we havent had rain yet, we need some , ive hosed down again today. hope it cheers up for you soon

Great pics and blog Gee, it has been a right wash-out today hasn`t it. I hate to say it though, the garden really needed it. We`ve had enough of it though and the sun can back now...lol!

I have just dismantled my water butts, DD2 . My son in law is going to link them for me so they run off the bungalow roof rather than the shed. So I've missed collecting loads - talk about bad timing :(

Smashing blog and Pics,as always,Gee.What an awful day ,weatherwise.We haven't had any rain at all today,but its been very cold and a bitter wind.Typical of Bank Holiday weather...and a shame for everyone ,on their weekend off.
