Just had a look,and It is definitely an Orange tip...and a male,as the female doesn't have the orange markings..very interesting reading about its habits and lifestyle,so thank you very much :o)

agree its a male orange tip. a pretty native. its a butterfly. you can tell as the tip of its antennae are like clubs. the moths have ones that look like combs/brushes.

Bloomer, forgot to tell you, we went to Dearne lea tea rooms again last week, took Ralphs daughter for lunch

We went as well,last Thursday....it was so cold in there..but still enjoyed it..hope Ralphs daughter did too :o)

we went wednesday, yes it was cold we had to use the third dining room as it was heaving, Ralph had pie and peas mint sauce and chips, I had a toastie, and Sue had a meal, Lazagne and chips and salad, it was huge, value for money, and our neighbour was there too,

Same on Thursday too,we couldn't get in the one when we met you and Ralph..that is always the warmest..seems strange,as all the radiators were on..noticed it a few times how cold it is..and all those people in as well..glad you all enjoyed your meals,we had the toasties again...and a portion of chips to share at .:o)
