Hi Chris,very much an 'event' week here..but a welcome and happy one..Alfie met other family members yesterday,and his great Grandmother...We all sat in their garden toasting his arrival with Strawberries in glasses of Champagne..A nice change from the tonic water I usually drink :o)xx

Thanks Sandra, I am coming along very well, spending time outside in the sunshine whilst I can, you are s'posed to stay out of it when having the therapy which of course hasn't started yet, they hadn't got my results last week so my appointment had to be cancelled at the last minute...

Hopefully it'll be cooler when the treatment starts Sue......where do you have to go for it, I was told the other day that our Infirmary now have six machines!...

Oh my, Alfie is tiny! Isn't it amazing how Mums and their newborns are allowed home so soon? Smashing photos of very proud parents and Grandma too ... not forgetting Thomas of course! :o)

Thanks Shirley,he does seem tiny,I agree but he is only 6oz lighter than Thomas was..but in a newborn,it seems a lot..It was Alison who wanted to go home,as she could have stayed in overnight..but she felt fine,and there's nothing like your own bed ! Glad you liked the photo's..:o) xx

Thank you Gee..Alfie had his first visit to our house today..slept throughout, but it won't be too long till he is exploring every nook and cranny :o)

Shhh, don't tell anyone, Bloomer, but I use to give sleeping grandchildren a gentle poke so I could pick them up for a cuddle :)

Lol,Gee..I must say,I was tempted,but as his mum and dad were relishing a bit of peace time..with sleeping in shifts through night,I thought I'd better not :o) I still had a cuddle,and he was none the wiser :o)
