A peaceful hillside scene in spring …
Something interesting over there ?
Some baby calves …
Sizing each other up !
What happened next …
Well you don’t frighten me !
This is what we saw on one of our local hills, on a cool spring day recently :o)

Lol, that is so funny, as Waddy says, how young animals react to each other. Put a smile on my face on a gloomy rainy monday morning. Thank you :-).

Thats is so funny and yes the scenery is lovely Hywel, on a smaller scale that happens here with one curious pup and anything else that moves, yesterday it was a hedgehog so had to move quickly and get Harriet indoors, it wasn't so peaceful here though, she is very vocal at times..

Nobody won Sue. It was a draw game :o)
I didn't know you once lived on a farm Dawn. When I was little I always said I wanted to be a farmer when I grew up lol :D

Another example of having time to 'stand and stare'. How many people would have sailed past in the care and possibly only noted some animals in a field?
The curiousity of youth in pictures, great!

Thank you all :)
Honeysuckle we were stopped on the mountain having coffee that I had taken in a flask (we often do that) and we watched them for ages. They were very funny :)

Made me laugh, loved your captions.
Living in a mainly rural area we don't see these things, barley, wheat & oil seed rape aren't nearly so interesting to watch.

You don't see many crops here. I think it's too rainy for them :) It's mostly sheep and cows, either roaming the hills or in fields.
