That's a great painting, I couldn't paint like that if I tried for a year, brilliant. I could do it in pencil, probably, but I'm useless with a paintbrush... Merry Christmas to you and everyone else too

Most of it is done with watercolour pencils Bamboo :) I also like using graphite pencils and soluble graphite pencils. I am hopeless with paints.

Ah! I love using those water colour pencils, and it makes me feel much better knowing I'm not the only one who can't paint! I really like charcoal, but its not an easy thing to work with, too much smudging....

In this photo the sky and trees are done with paints but the rest is with water colour pencils.

I have also uploaded a photo of another old church on my photo page. That one is done with paints only. Maybe you'd like to have a look at it. I don't think it's very good but it is near where I live and Eirlys is also from the same area and I put it on for her to see.

I just had a look - its beautiful, and if I'd done that, I'd be really pleased with myself Hywel...
