Some students paintings of my garden!

Did they visit your garden or work from a photo?

They have a wonderful luminesence, like the cat too!!

They just worked from photos, but some og them are coming along for a barbecue in the holidays so they can see it for real!
You will notice Lulu only one person was brave enough to paint the cat! lol

You would have to be brave to paint our cat too!!

I wouldnt paint my cat either lol

Our cat is a pain, have a look at a fairly recent blog called serious cat rescue! Next time she climbs the pole she can jollywell stay there. I rang my Dad to ask if he knew of a way to get her down, he reccommended a shotgun!

Hi Pixi love the paintings but the last one is my favourite have you painted your garden?

They have done well, like the one showing the cat, good job your plants don`t disappear like that really....

I liked the last one best too but I did like the cat a rolling over!

Like the Cat one best seems they`ve captured the playfulness very well.

Wow, they're great paintings :) I love the one with the cat on! How old are your students?

Hi Pixi, type in serious cat rescue into the Google Custom search box at the top of the page, you have to see Lulu's blog, it has one of the best pics of a cat...EVER, on it!
It'll be interesting to see your students reaction to the real garden! You should get them to do a five minute pencil sketch, to see how they cope! It's a good exercise!

Firstly no I havent ever painted my garden! I should!
And my fav is the one with the cat too, she was trying to catch a fly lol
The students ages range from 15-85 lol

Libet they would have a fit if I asked them to do a quick sketch lol..one time i got a freind to pose for an hour at one class..I said ok we will do 3 5min sketches then alonger pose..they were out of their comfort zone then but I made them do it!..hehe hard task master me!

Sometimes my plants do disappear lol then the reappear..I dunno where they go lol..sometimes I'm not sure if I have weeds or plants..my thoughts are to leave anything that looks good haha.

Pixi....you've got some good artists there. As others have said, the painting with your cat has been well captured. It is interesting to see how each of them interprets your garden with slight variations...artist's license :)

It looks very good in the pictures. I have always wanted to live in a log cabin - probably watched 'little house on the prairies' too many times when I was younger.

what a fab idea, I like the paintings they have all done a marvellous job.
I might have a go at painting my own garden, to see how it turns out.

The shed is like a wee hoose really lol but its full of junk..been clearing it all out today aswell as weeding etc
