Yes, thanks... Conker had his check-up yesterday... and all seems well.. no signs yet of the cancer returning... I've put an update on Conker's Charity Dog Shows blog, so I won't write more here..xxx

hi Sandra~ my daughter and son in law have been in Sharm since last Thursday doing their diving certificate~ returning tomorrow.
I had a text from her yesterday saying they had seen three Turtles whilst diving as well as Rays~ don't know where she was staying.You look as though you had a good time!

Glad you had a good holiday and birthday. The photos are lovely, especially that beautiful pale yellow hibiscusy looking flower! Looks a beautiful place to visit and was glad you enjoyed the snorkling. Some of my family do scuba diving but it has never appealed to me as I don't like getting my face wet :)

thanx Gee, it was the breathing for me, a bit rapid with my breathing, then when i did calm it down i felt a bit clostraphobic, if thats how to spell it lol, so couldnt stay under to long but did see some fishes which was great, its a fear of water getting in my mouth and mask, water was a bit rough, better closer to shore, think i would try again in calmer waters

aww thanx hywel, its been great enjoying my birthday before, during and after hols,, i went through hell and high water to get cactus plants for you dear friend lol, i said to baz after seeing some while on a coach, " i must get some pics for hywel" and eventually found some close to our hotel :o)) x

Love the pictures all the lovely plants and flowers, I bet that Cactus had Hywel drooling! i have always wanted to go snorkling and see the fascinating underworld, but its something I just dream about these days ;0)

i was so impressed with baz for doing this on his own and no help, it was a wonderfull birthday,
think i will have another go at snorkling but calmer waters next time i think, lovely to see all the coloured fishes though, always nice to be home in your own surroundings i think :o))

Yes Sandra doesnt matter how much I enjoy my little holidays, its always so nice to get back home into your little routines and potter in the garden!

cant wait to get back into the garden carole, seems ages since i did anything out there, not long now though :o))

thanx so much janey, glad you like my pics,your daughter and grandaughters will enjoy it im sure, tell them not to fall for the shop owners trying to sell their goods, they will charm you into their shops lol, you just have to say no thankyou and just keep walking, not as bad in shopping malls though, we stayed in namma bay which isnt to big and some lovely places to eat cheap, people are so friendly and helpfull,egyptian music and nightlife in the square all night if you want to stay out late to see it all, great atmesphere, hope they have a great time ;o)) x

hi joanella dont worry its hard to catch up isnt it when off for a while,baz didnt try snorkling he just watched, he doesnt like the water really, beautifull fish though, glad i tried it,
the birds can get food now the ice and snow are gone so you wont see as many but keep feeding as they will need more when nesting and bringing their young ones up :o))thanks for looking joanella

What a coincidence Sandra, my sister-in-law returned from Sharm on Tuesday after celebrating her 60th birthday there with her family. Thanks to your beautiful photos I now know how lovely it was.. Happy Birthday and I`m glad you had such a great time there. :o)
