I took all the photos this weekend.
The rose is the one I inherited from my mother. It has grown surprisingly high and it flowers profusely for months on end.
Sunny day today, so Conker was glad of his specs ;o)

My father's auntie Martha Ann brought a small bit one day, and stuck it in the wall. It took off, and spread between all the stones in the old wall. It looked very pretty when it was full of flowers :o)

I'm going to split the campanula in the springtime ...

Brilliant Blog, love it. I dont love November the days are so dark, and I dont get to see my garden during the week, as its dark when I get back from work, so my pleasure is looking at the blogs and this has surely pleased

I have personal reasons for finding the end of October/beginning of November a sad time, but once we reach about 10th, I feel able to look for happy, wonderful things about this time of year.

Thanks. The rose was very small when inherited from my mother. She had described it as her 'miniature rose' and I thought she meant the whole rose plant would be tiny. So I was very surprised when it grew and grew.. taller and taller !

It is still covered in pretty blossoms and buds.
Sadly, no i.d. as yet.

Dull weather today, so Conker didn't need his shades ;o)

My autumn lawns are more muddy than previous years ... because of the wet summer perhaps. ;o)

Our lawns are wet too with loads of worm casts.
