That is good W'rose, we got off lightly here rain all night but the wind had dropped during the evening, sunshine now, lets hope it has blown itself out and that we don't receive bad news from our other friends......

Glad all is well. We lost our lovely willow tree! :O(

Good news WR, been watching the news this morning and feel so sorry for all the people that have been affected, we are fine up north just rain! a lovely picture;0)

still waiting as i'm on Humberside. raining but not very windy. so fingers crossed.

What a lovely photo, very calming. Glad all is well with you - I sat up all night with a poorly Millie on my lap, listening to the wind and rain. Some garden damage, disappointing but not a complete disaster - I will take a proper look when I feel more like coping :)

Good news.
Pleased you have been left safe and sound. Great picture, sun is trying to get out here and rain has stopped. No damage, that I have seen yet, off for a look around the garden in a few minutes now it has stopped raining. Lots of trees down around houses and damaged cars etc on the news. So pleased we have missed out on that wind - was dreading the wind with all the trees around us. Thank goodness it is all over now.

Excellent news ... we have come off very lightly here ... apart from some fallen trees further North of us we have not suffered much at all ... feel so sorry for the folk with damaged cars from fallen trees ... :o(

we have just had the rain so really pleased there has been no damage. But so sad for those families that have lost their loved ones.

I'm glad all is well with you. We escaped lightly too. It was really windy, but I don't think the wind reached the speeds they were warning about here. My thoughts are with all the people it has affected.

I'm pleased to hear you are safe, and that there is no damage to your property. It's such a relief when I hear people are all right. Even though I only know everyone on here as a square avatar on a screen, I still worry about them lol ...

We had nothing here, just ordinary rain. I was awake most of the night (having a period of 'insomniatic' nights at the moment !) and I heard no wind at all ... although they say that Pembrey Sands, - only about 20 miles from here, - had winds of 80 mph !

Seriously though, it must have been worrying for you and other people in this part of the country. We have missed most of it! I went out the day before to secure everything in the garden , but nothing happened, I'm pleased to say !
