Never mind you can stay home and make !!!cake and a doggy equivalent for Molly. When the sun shines next you can walk it all off again.

It has been so cold here today as well as the horrible drizzle, drizzle, drizzle. Glad it made you smile, Carole. I think the rain has actually stopped at the moment but Millie and I are out for dinner at my daughter's this evening so will go well wrapped up. I have baking to do but will start that tomorrow - I have already cooked meat, onions & mushrooms for the pie and Grandson has requested Banoffi Pie for pudding. I will make a cake (or two) as well, but definitely no custard, TT :)

Mmm meat and onion Pie and Banoffi Pudding sounds like my kind of food, have great evening with your daughter and hope Millie enjoyed her walk and didnt trip up wit those webbed feet lol

It was frosty first thing and bright all day, a few clouds but lovely to see the sun......but only for today it seems.....:0(

Same here Gee, think I am getting trench foot!!!! Garden is just too soggy. Fed up now :~(

We've had a lovely day - sunny and warm. Yesterday was quite nice too, but colder than it's been today. I think we could all do with proper spring weather now.

Thanks for your comments, glad it cheered you all. I have just walked back from my daughters and it wasn't as cold as I expected and it's not raining :)

I used to read those books in junior school (many moons ago!!)

My daughter bought me one of the books at Christmas last year and this year I received a 'Milly Molly Mandy Things to do' book :)

Poor old Millie, it seems so strange as its usually us up here that gets rain nearly every day, and everybody else as had on rain and although its cold up here in Blackpool we are getting very little rain, better shut up as i dont wont to put a dapper on things up here and then we get loads of rain like we normaly get.

A much better day here, Clarice, just one brief shower and now the sun is shining - a bit late in the day and there doesn't seem much warmth in it but never mind :)
