Thanks, Bloomer, it's nice to have everything working again. It's been very cold here today too, a very hard frost, although heavy rain/winds are forecast for tonight. I don't know what is worst :)

Have you seen "Daylight Robbery 2"? - from the title, I assume there was a "Daylight Robbery 1" but I've not been able to track it down - they built an obstacle course for squirrles to see how intelligent and athletic they were - and that was considerable!

lol Snoopdog - I've called them several other things as well! When I first moved in here in 2010 it was "ooh, aren't they sweet!" for about a week: ever since I started putting plants out it's been "gerroff, you little [deleted]!"

You will need to do a blog on how to use powerpoint to do this. How do you transfer the slides to the website. As always its funny and cheerful and so very clever.

Wonderful Gee, pesky squirrels keep eating our bird food, all gone in one day, dont think the birds are getting any!! Not sure what to do! Brilliant blog.

I had to buy a special nut holder as the rascal squirrel here emptied the full nut ball in half an hour, it was a wonder he didn't explode!!

That is hilarious. They are such acrobats.You have to admire their determination. We have more than a few in our place on Vancouver Island and unfortunately they are quite destructive.

How funny, thank you Gee! My doggies tend to chase them off, they don't dare come near my bird feeder!

lol Lulu, can I borrow your doggie for a while? there's a locked-off green beyond our gardens, has a colony of the little perishers; I had to stop putting food out for birds because even if they could'nt get at the contents, they were attracted to the garden and dug up my pots instead.

Millie doesn't chase squirrels, Lulu, but if they were rabbits that would be different! She also chases (sometimes) the jackdaws but not ducks. I don't know why she is so selective :)
