…..and left his mark!
Front garden
The bird bath was solid ice and couldn’t be removed but there is plenty of fresh water in the back garden for my visitors.
Camellia leaves
Frosty curly red
Hardy geranium (good job it is too)
Back garden
Poor daisy – last week this plant survived the flood but today it is looking very sad.
Robin hasn’t been caught out in the cold – he has sussed out the fat feeder :)

First a flood and now a freeze :o((( Good job the water had subsided before the frost or you might have had to skate to your gate !

Lovely photos! Frost really picks out the beauty of leaf shapes. We can't see any of our garden plants at the moment as they're under a foot of snow! It snowed hard over last Sunday night and all through Monday, then a light thaw set in, making foot-long icicles hanging from the boilerhouse roof, and today - the day we were going into the Big Chorizo (Santander) to do Christmas shopping, we've woken up to another load of snow, so the trip's off!

Thanks everyone :)
Very strange here today - we had blue skies but a bitterly cold wind and no frost. The water in the bird baths at the front is still frozen solid but the ones in the back have stayed free although the ice I took off yesterday is still sitting there! Now it is very grey and we just had a sleet shower. Snow is promised (or threatened!) for tomorrow :)
Bloomer, I use the little containers from dog food and because they are small the larger birds seem to leave them alone too :)
