He couldn't throw it over the fence...it was a bit dry in there,anyway .I shall give it a stir round tomorrow...Lol...

I managed to get out in the garden too but only to release my plants at the top of the garden from piles of snow!

Thank you Amy,it's lovely when they like to come,isn't it? we have to make the most of their young days..tiring though! but I slept like a log last night :o) His other grandparents arrived from Spain last night,so it will be nice for him to see them this morning..he goes all quiet when he is on Skype with them..so he will be chattering away ,when he sees them :o)

Lol...the quiet before the storm for you then,next week ? enjoy your peaceful time with your daughter,while it lasts :o)

It's on Penistone road,Val..carry on past the Sovereign pub at Shepley,towards Sheffield..through Birdsedge,and High flatts,it's on the right hand side..and signposted..I don't know if they do meals,but they have sandwiches,toasties and hot beef teacakes..plus lovely homemade cakes and scones ,and their coffee is lovely ! :o)

You are welcome,Val..we hadn't been before,but Alison had looked at it online,to find something for Thomas to do over Easter..which didn't cost the earth! ..all the childrens things were free,just a suggestion box for donations to their charity for sick children....it is a working farm too,mainly cows I think..

You might have to check first Val..not sure if they only do these events at Bank holidays..you could google it,to see..

Lovely blog Sandra, think everybodys said all the things I was going to say about Thomas, but I'll say them anyway, he is a lovely, cheeky faced little boy, and I'm sure he didn't need a ball and chain to help you. It's funny how they put adults shoes on, Lewis who is 10, came outside to us the other day, (when we were having a crafty smoke) in his Grandads shoes. The way he's growing, he'll soon be in size 9's like him. Keep sending his photos in. :-))))))

Now that conjures up a picture,G.mage ! Lol..we had lots of farms and Haystacks where we used to live in Cumbria..great fun in the summer..my parents had a fit when they found out we used to climb to the top of them,and either slide down or jump off ..no idea till I fell off one,and dislocated my thumb :o)) ...Thomas loved scrabbling around in the straw..first time he has seen it..he got up very close to a cows face in a pen.he wasn't so sure about that one :o)..I think it was the heavy breathing ! Lol

Glad you enjoyed the blog..and great we can capture the moment on our cameras or mobiles these days..wish they had been available when all our own children were little..we missed so many memorable shots..maybe as well,for their sakes :o))

I quite agree Sandra about cameras and phones. I've made photo albums for my g.children, they get it when they are 16, mostly of their earlier days, 2 down 2 to go!

They certainly do,G.mage..we are waiting for the questions :o) and no .not a new grandchild..a new cousin for him..his dad's brother's baby..met him yesterday as they came up to Thomas's house with his present..and it was lovely to have a cuddle..his name is Jacob Oliver..you forget how tiny they are at two days old :o)

Oh B you do they are so tiny aren't they and such little treasures. Thought that you another little one to come and play! Love Jacob's name. x

I think everyone loved a cuddle,and his little two year old brother Zachary is lovely with him..Alison made sure he had a present to open too,as we didn't want him to feel left out..as there were gifts for Jacob,,as well as Thomas..he was so chuffed :o) Thomas has gone to a local cinema this morning ..first visit..a really old fashioned traditional one,..his mum has just sent me a message to say he and his friend are fascinated by the Organist who still plays there..and no doubt they will enjoy it when the Usherette comes round in the interval ! takes you back a bit,doesn't it ?

Not arf B. hilarious, an organist still?? Those were the days B. happy and carefree. Glad everyone got pressies it is such a happy time. x

Isn't it just,G.mage? Alison sent me a pic..the Organist is a very mature lady ! and has been playing there for years..Thomas fidgeted all the way through the film..she said she was glad she hadn't taken him to the Odeon,at their prices :o) I bet she wasn't pleased !Lol. They went to a local park afterwards to work off their energy :o))

We have our brood coming over tomorrow for a few days so think we might go running in the woods, possibly play some mini golf and maybe visit a farm that has some lambs there. Must keep them busy, will be able to collapse on Tuesday! Lol. x
