Few Photos Plus a Query

Will start with the query, first two pictures of my new clematis which should be Warsaw Nike, which according to the label should be reddish colour. This is the first blooms, but they look decidedly pink to me. If anyone else has this clematis would they please let me know if this is the true colour.
Raining here again this morning, but took a few photos to show how everything is filling out now, plus a picture of the garden from the back door.
Sorry about the duplication, don’t know how that happened !
My wonderful Comtesse de Bouchard
Clematis Perle de Azure just opening.

Love those nasturtium. what variety are they??

Your garden is looking lovely, despite the horrible weather we are having. T he Canary Creeper and the Nasturtium's look great :-))

I'd say your 'Warsaw Nike' is actually Hagley Hybrid, Cinderella. Luckily, a nice one anyway...
The Comtesse Bouchaud is glorious, looking great.

The Nasturtiums are Double Delight Cream, a new bushy variety. Thank you Sensei89, and also Mavis.
Bamboo, thank you, looks like it was a case of wrong label again!

Even in the rain it all looks lovely Cinders, the Clematis is a fabulous sight and really stands out in your last pic...

Lovely photos and I, too, like those nasturtiums. So nice that they are a bush variety, different.

That was why I bought the seed Gee. I am quite pleased with them, but they are a lighter colour than I was expecting.

Your garden is pretty in spite of the rainy weather. Comtess de Bouchard is really pretty.

Cinderella - I posted photos of 'Warsaw Nike' recently so you can compare. Definitely not the same clematis as yours

Thanks Andrew, I'll take a look
2 Jul, 2012
No its definitely not Warsaw Nike is it. I'm a bit disappointed now, I'll just have to hope it performs well. Thank you.

Just put a picture of my Warsaw nike on for you to compare looks slightly different colour to Andrews but that could just be the camera - nothing like yours tho.
Your garden is looking great and the Contessa is definitely a star, also love those blue canterbury bells.

Thank you Mark.
Stroller I will go take a look. Have been out all day, just got in, but have also visited a GC today and there was a Warsaw Nike there, and it was definitely not like mine

Hi San, thank you. How are you these days.
5 Jul, 2012
Garden still looking great Cinders, no your clem is not WN, we grow it and it is much darker, I like the clem though, it looks very familiar to me, not Hagley Hybrid either. That Comtesse is a star, ours has loads of flowers too, I love it.
5 Jul, 2012
Thanks DD. I don't think the flower is large enough for it to be Hagley Hybrid, but I'm going to have to look through a clematis book or nursery to find it. Think I may move it from where it is though when its finished flowering as not what I wanted for the arch.

Good luck with your search....

Thanks DD.
