Thanks, Clarice, for giving us an update on Smokey.
I see they've adjusted the Prednisolone, so they're obviously taking great care to make sure he has the right amount for his current condition.
You are being a wonderful, caring owner to Smokey.

Thats one thing for sure he'll be wonting to sit on my knee, all i can do is one day at atime with him.x

sorry carol i was mixed up with my days thinking it was tomorrow, im so sorry smokey has lost so much weight, glad he is still at home with you though, the injection will have knocked him out so he may well sleep all evening and dont worry if he doesnt eat tonight, hope he improves a bit before you have to go back, cuddles and kisses for smokey, take care xx

As SAandra says the medication will probalbly knocked him off his feet Clarice....used to happen to us...Hope Smokey perks up and eats his tea..xxx

I'm glad to hear Smokey is all right for the time being Carol. The vet is brilliant and doing all they can for him. He's lucky he has you to care for him aswell. A good sleep will help him tonight.

Just keep up the treatment - cuddles, cuddles and more cuddles. Thank goodness he has you as his owner and by the sound of it, a very good vet.

Thanks for all your kind messages for Smokey, he as only eaten a little tiny bit today, but his eyes look quite bright aswell, perhaps he may start eating again tomorrow i hope.

May well take a few days for the extra meds to kick in Clarice.at least Smokey has had a little to eat.What he does have is lots of TLC...by the bucket load............x
