I’ve got several Hellebores in my garden. Some of them are self seeded ones.
I took photos of them for you to see …
Some are new photos, and some are old ones that I’d deleted, and decided to put back on again,
but they are all still in my garden :o)
I hope you have enjoyed seeing them.

Hywel they are gorgeous and you have so many different ones, I do like the speckled ones, I struggle with mine getting them to flower, I have had some for years, they grow well and fill out but have never produced any flowers, I'm gradually moving them to a different part of the garden as I discovered they don't seem to like being down the bottom shadier part, I found that out a couple of years back after transplanting some which do now bloom well for me, I'm adding this to my favourites, I know it will cause my wishlist to grow even longer but one has to dont'cha think, LOL.....

Hywel, as always, your photos are stunning. I do love hellebores and it has been lovely to see so many here.

Lovely pictures. Cheered up a dreary, rainy February night looking at them.

What a smashing selection Hywel, and all looking good..

Thank you all for looking at my Hellebores :) and your comments.
(Steragram) Sue I am pleased to know the ones I sent you are flowering :o)
(Lincslass) Sue I have mine growing where they get some sunshine especially in the summer. I have moved them around several times though, and I think they must be feeling fed up lol
I am glad to hear the ones you moved are doing well now. It's so disappointing when something doesn't flower.
Oh, and you have to have a wish list - the longer the better ! ;)

Oh Hywel they are all so beautiful !

They are just beautiful Hywel.

They are really lovely Hywel. I had a new deep red one which got blown over by strong winds, so I cut off the flower heads and floated them in a bowl of water . . . still looking good!

Ooo Sandra, I'd love to go to that! Its quite a way though and OH wouldn't be interested.

Thank you all for your comments :)
That would be very interesting Sandra. I've heard of it before but didn't know they had speakers etc.
They must look pretty Sheilabub, and your new one sounds a nice colour :)
I had a look at that nursery's site Simbad. They've got some really unusual plants ... I hope your Hellebores do well :)
Louisa many of my Hellebores are self seeded ones. They always surprise me ...

Thanks Hywel , I had some alstromeria from them too tiny bits of root when they came and really didn't think they'd grow but all are doing well :-)
Lucky you most of my self seeders are pink, maybe now I'm getting a few different colours I might get a few more surprises too ;-)

Fantastic news - OH has agreed to drive me to the hellebore open day!!! Thank you Sandra for telling us about it. Hywel its only 33 miles from you - perhaps see you there??
18 Feb, 2016
They are all beautiful Hywel, but pictures 12 and 13 are particularly stunning.
18 Feb, 2016
Thank you all :o)
I hope your Alstromerias do well Simbad :)
I won't be there Sue. It's a bit too far. Beryl has such a struggle to get about these days, we'd be late getting there, and she wouldn't be able to cope with it anyway. And my eyes are not good for driving in the dark - by the time we got there it would be time to start our way home again.
I hope you enjoy it :)
Thanks Waddy, that particular one is beautiful :)

Shame Hywel, but I suspected that would be the case. I hope we will get home before dark too - not good roads for night driving, though if we go through Carmarthen it should be good roads most of the way.

Stera make sure you look out for my son David...fair hair and handsome...but then i am his mother...lol...He will be there all weekend. Farmyard have some new helebores this year. Richard the owner has a passion for them and has bread some of his own seed. Wish i could come too...
19 Feb, 2016
I wish you could too - will try to take a few photos. And I will look out for a handsome fair young man - perhaps he'll give me a discount if I mention his Mum....lol.
19 Feb, 2016
I just spoke to him and he said it was very busy there today but that he is not there tomorrow after all...I will look forward to your pictures...

What a lot Hywel! They are beautiful. The pink and the dark purple that you gave me are both flowering nicely and I think kindly of you when I look at them.
Number six is quite spectacular!
