im overwelmed with all the beautifull msg`s from all my GOYer mates, it means so much to me to have read them even though it made me cry lol,
It shows even though we all only know eachother through pictures and words(except the lucky ones who get to meet) that friendship can be made this way, we get to know about eachother and share happy and sad feelings,
each one of you has brought some happiness to me over the last few years with help answering garden questions, gifts for me garden which i try to keep alive and the laughs we all share on GOY.
i have my appointment through for 27th, so i will enjoy spending xmas with joe, and Baz, also my step children and granchildren, also will spend time with my troubled son johnny who i love dearly.
so eat drink and be merry all of you and dont worry about the pounds we will put on haha

Thankyou so much BA, iv been back to work as i only do two days now, but still feeling tired, maybe its brain tired lol thinking to much and waiting for results etc.
Joe arrived home and thats made my day, lovely having him here for xmas.
managed to get my Decs up with lots of help from Baz, so looks festive now.

just to update that i will be going to have a further 6 sessions of chemo into my bladder starting 28th, one each week, not looking forward to this but being high risk with cancer they feel i must have this to help reacuring tumours and regular cystoscopys one after treatment and then on when consultant recomends, maybe yearly not sure.
A bit of a shock but iv got to get through it one way or another.

Sandra me love, I know you'll bravely go through with the chemo as you know it will help keep you healthy. An older friend of my sons has had injections of chemo into his bladder and he said it didn't cause too much of a problem for him though obviously not pleasant. He's fine now by the way. I'm sure we'll all be thinking of you on the 28th. Enjoy your lovely family this Christmas, next year is bound to be kinder to you. Do let us know how you are when you feel up to it. x

iv been given something by my Doctor to help relax me for treatments and like you said BA isnt a pleasant thing to have done.
hoping to change the day from fridays to wednesdays so i can carry on with work thursday and friday, i want things to carry on as normal if possible.

Got my CT scan results and all clear for my kidneys and liver, so 6 chemo treatments start 9th jan then cysoscopys every 3/4 months till they feel im ok, then every year or so.
so i feel better knowing its not gone anywhere else.
Need to get myself fit for next years gardening now lol xxx

thankyou BA, christmas was nice and quiet, joe was here which made me feel better, he goes back to wales on sat, we are taking him as far as Bangor where his girfriend will pick him up to head to her family for newyear in angelsea.

Good to hear that scan results came back ok. The chemo will take it out of you physically & not be pleasant, but working towards a satisfying outcome. I have a brother who was diagnosed with prostate cancer several months ago ...the same week his wife broke up the marriage, so he was in a mess emotionally. He's now living with a niece of ours & has been on hormone treatment for four months ...says he has mood swings & gets all emotional & now knows how women feel! He will start having radiation therapy early February. Sandra, Happy New Year from NZ

i had radiation theropy last time and chemo which made me feel so ill but this time its direct into bladder and no bad side effects unlike it going into veins.

Hiya Sandra, so pleased for you, the results are ace and such a relief for you, it doesn`t matter how many times you have to be checked out does it, now its onwards and upwards again, take care, the chemo sessions will soon be behind you and you`ll be out there with the rest of us tweaking and changing, looking for the new shoots and delighting when you see them.

Hi Sue and thankyou so much, i keep popping out to see whats happening in the garden but far to boggy to even tread on the lawn, we even have lots of awfull bog type grass in the lawn probably with all the rain last year even in summer.
so cant wait for things to dry out alot so i can at least do a little tidying about before spring.
