I have really enjoyed my visit to the Wedding, you have done a fantastic job of all the preparations, so many unique and novel touches, the gel beads [will remember those! ] and the love hearts how sweet.

You look very smart is your finery Gee and what lovely daughters [the resemblance is uncanny like peas in a pod!. Your Grandson did you proud how handsome he looks in his suit. I love weddings Gee. Thank you for sharing your happiness with us. All of your 'helpers' made this a day the happy couple will never forget. Everything looked wonderful and you know me and my love of cake, big, small, fruit, chocolate I love them all and I think your friend did a fantastic job. I like your flower arangements too. I have enjoyed Lynn and Ians wedding and thought you looked wonderful. I think you are a midget gem too.

Must admit, I am shedding a tear in each eye. What an absolutely beautiful wedding....and what a lovely touch with the love hearts Gee! I'm not surprised you had a bit of a flat day afterwards. Treat yourself now, you really do deserve it. Your eldest Grandson is very handsome young man isn't he? As well as being witty and good to his Mum! :) x

What a fabulous day Gill , so much organising and planning from all the family to make it perfect , I had tears in my eyes it's a good job I wasn't there I would have use a whole tissue box,you all looked so happy . those beads are new to me I really liked them , Congratulations to Lynn and Ian we wish them a very happy future together for many years to come ..

It looks as if all your hard work was well worth it. You have a lovely family. I think weddings which have had a lot of family input always turn out to be beautiful. I love your daughter's wedding gown. Lovely colour. Well done. You will have a whole lot of wonderful memories & although her dad was not able to be there in person, I am sure he was there in spirit.

Thank you all for your lovely comments. Sorry I haven't been back for a few days but I, along with the rest of the family, succombed to a horrible cough/cold so we have all been hibernating. Hopefully we are over the worst now. The only ones who didn't catch the 'bug' were the honeymooners up in Yorkshire :)

Funny Gee, how often you get these ghastly colds after a family gatherings! 2 Christmases on the run I got terrible colds off much younger people. After the second one ........that was it! Christmas at home ....nice and quiet from now on. Weddings are different but it is such a let down after a happy occasion......glad the honeymooners didn't catch it.

I've only just got back to GoY today, Yorkshire, because of computer problems etc. The wedding seems a long time ago now but very happy memories of a lovely day with lovely weather :)

The weather was beautiful, Homebird, I think we had summer that day :)
