Well at the moment all I can manage is a wander about with my camera really but I could not ignore the roses and did deadhead a few whilst I was out there, call me cackhanded Susie if you like but my few minutes with the pruners was really enjoyable.. LOL.
The next one was a freebie last year from Spalding Bulbs .
Really pleased with its progress, other things doing well despite their lack of rain..
Gorgeous yellow one, I must remember to collect some seed and also move it because although doing well the silly plant has come up under the Delphiniums and can only be seen through the dogrun fence…..
I really like the blue with white trim, its really pretty.
Hubby is making a grand job with looking after the g’houses for me and hopefully will be taking his new mower for a walk over the weekend so alls well at the moment, lol…..Enjoy your gardens folks…

Take it steady Lincslass, you will be back up and able to get out there again soon. The garden looks really good and lots of colour. Think we are amongst the driest area in the country, but we are clay soil so the moisture hangs around well for us.

I saw what looks to be the "Peace Rose," third one down? That's my favorite! Nice tour overall. I hope you are feeling better.

The roses you have are looking wonderful as is the rest of your garden!
I bet you loved dead-heading the roses. I can imagine the pleasure it gave you to actually be involved out there again.
You have a very lovely garden to sit and relax in.

I hope you are all right Sue. Take care ...

Thankyou everyone, I am doing really well, its so tempting to do things, I am having to curb myself though so classed my little bit of gardening as my daily exercises, certainly enjoyed myself more, lol...

Its excellent that you are able to do a bit and it all looks great. My favourite this time is the fourth one down, I love that slightly misty dreamy feel.

Hi Sue! Great to hear that you are doing well! Garden is lovely and what a great time of year to be taking it easy...I mean if you HAVE to, which you do, then let it be summer! :))

Hi Sue, your garden is looking great, everything is so much further on than in mine, glad that you feel as if you can do something, just don't overdo it, Derek.

Lincs I bet that gave you a little lift being able to get out in the garden especially with all that gorgeous colour and perfume and its great that your on the mend.

Pruners in one hand and camera in the other, that's what I call a well balanced trip round the garden. So pleased you enjoyed yourself - just don't overdo it. I liked your trike too and was also intrigued by the green glass 'thingy'. Take care :)

Fantastic to see so many roses flowering so lovely in your garden, Sue! It is really a lovely sight! I can only grow miniature roses on my balcony, in fact one deep red flower has opened in the last few days! :-))

Lovely garden

Hi, what are the little white ones (picture underneath the rabbit planter) called? They look very pretty.
I've just joined here. I have a completely bare garden (ex rental) so can start from scratch. We've almost finished the landscaping (putting in a patio, some steps and little walls to terrace part of the garden) so am now starting to plan.
Its very exciting!

Stera thats my beautiful Handel, its taken over as my favourite now, of all daft places I have it growing in the dogrun near the waterbutts, trying my hardest to get a cutting to start so as I can gain one in the main garden...

Hi Pam hope you had a good time, I'm now progressing to carrying my smallest watering can to the patio as well as sitting down trimming back the flowers on the rockery, I'm cheating and doing all the rest with my new hosepipe and sprinkler extension that Derek treated me to so as I don't have to stretch or cart anything heavy, think its his way of stopping me going stircrazy as well as saving him a job...LOL.
My results didn't come back so I have another week of waiting..

Hkroon, hello and welcome to goy, the flowers you are asking about are Nigella commonly known as Love in a Mist, very pretty and once you have some they will selfseed everywhere, planning is always good and as you say exciting but you can expect your ideas to change on a regular basis as you browse our pages, your wishlist will get very long but its all good fun and we love it....Not sure about our bank balances though...

You have some lovely roses in your garden...

Not a bad idea to give the dogs chance to admire Handel - as long as they aim away from it....

Thanks Dd..
Stera Handel is quite safe as there is an area of granite between the roses and the footpath, the boys do not like it under their paws at all...
