Things are finally beginning to happen in our garden…Take a look………


The Peiris is in full swing and the Skimmia is just beginning to bloom


The Magnolia is just bursting its buds, and the Camellia too……..


We have finally got our 1st Daffodils, and the Muscari is coming up a treat. And as for the Rhubarb…its gone mad this week But this morning we had a special treat……….


That…….as they say…..was the cream on the top………..

Chaffinches oh you are a very lucky lady!!!! They come into the nursery garden where I work but have never seen them in my garden!!!! you lucky lady. There eating Nigellia seeds aren't they, and they are expensive. Do they like anything else Maureen?

pauline these are goldfinch, love niger seed and sunflower hearts, i give then thistle seed to, but mainly sunflower hearts cause i cant get niger seed here much

Beautiful plants and well worth the wait. I loved seeing the goldfinches as last year a pair landed in our front garden - very exoctic for us!! I guess they were just resting for a while though on route to your garden maybe and as we don't have feeders in the front they left never to be seen again sadly!
