Ahr bless Terratoonie sleep heals good for him.

27 Nov, 2009

Agree Morgana, it's the bodies way of healing. He has a happy face in this photo TT, relieved to be out somewhere different and NOT at the clinic! :o))

27 Nov, 2009

Yes, lately Conker sleeps in a more relaxed way... must be feeling better...
The longer we were at the garden centre, the more confident he became...
On his blog, the blue skies in the photos are deceiving... it was very cold and extremely windy.... all the garden centre signs kept blowing over !

~he realised it wasn't a new clinic!
love to your brave boy~he's a real trouper!and you for seeing him through it!

I'll tell Conker...xxx

Hello Hywel ...
Yes, I agree with you and with Conker...
...these cyclamen are pretty...
Conker so much enjoyed his day out. :o)

28 Nov, 2009

No wonder he has a smile in his eyes - he's looking at the best mum in the world!

28 Nov, 2009

That's a kind thing to say, Wagger... thanks :o)
The past two days it has turned very cold here, and Conker started feeling very chilly due to this thin hair.... so ...he has been wearing old "Bonsai" the Welsh Terrier's rather baggy knitted coat. Conker LOVES it ! He wore it all last night..... I've told him he must take it off for just a while each day to let his skin breathe...Lol.

28 Nov, 2009

I second that Wagger. :o)

Ah it's lovely to see Conker out and about TT , he needs to keep warm ..it's good that he likes Bonsai's old knitted coat , it's probably a comfort to him that he can smell the scent of his faithful old friend ... I can just see him snuggling down in it ... :o)

Hywel....:o) xxx

28 Nov, 2009

Hi Amy...
Yes, before Conker's cancer, he always had such thick hair, so he has never before had the need to wear a coat ...
I had washed the coat, but it still has a slight scent of lovely old Bonsai........in fact, I told Conker this morning that he is becoming rather like a Welsh Terrier. Lol. :o)

I'm sure there is still a slight scent TT ... dogs have such an accute sense of smell ... I read an article once where they were saying that dogs can smell Cancer in people ! I think thats probably true as my sister - in Law died from Cancer and she did say that her dog knew ......

28 Nov, 2009

You are right, Amy.... a dog's sense of smell is many times stronger than ours....so I'm sure Conker can detect the scent of old Bonsai ... and he would remember Bonsai wearing the coat... so maybe he also feels like he has something of his old friend back again...
... and yes, dogs can sometimes detect cancer in humans....

It's great to see out & about once again!

He has a great taste also in flowers as those Cyclamen look really lovely! They seem to be this year fad as I can't remember any year when there were sooo many on sell!

Give Conker a rub behind the ears for me, will you, TT? Better give Truffles a few while you're at it - to keep him from being jealous!

28 Nov, 2009

Hi Balcony...

So happy to hear that Conker is still getting better!

I've just caught up with the posts on here after several days of being occupied trying to update my webpages. It's such a long process. I tried to open GoY yesterday evening but found I had no internet connection! So I spent the whole evening working on my pages. As I still hadn't a connection to the internet by the time it was time to go to bed I wasn't able to upload my modified pages to my webpage.

Hoping that Truffles & Conker begin to play together more in the coming days.

Hello Balcony....
I had trouble getting on internet this morning...
...that problem seems to be infectious, doesn't it...!
Sounds like you work hard on those web pages...

Yes, thanks. Conker is eating much better now.
His hair is very thin....I'm hoping it will start to grow soon....
