casper settling in well

He looks as though he's master of the house already ! Gorgeous cat. Mine is confused due to new windows fitted today, she's curled up by the radiator next to me.

..he looks and acts more like a kitten doesn't he.

Oh bless, my little kitten Checkers is exactly the same she sits at the top of the stairs waiting to pounce!! She carrys around a Mouse - a soft little toy and when you say "wheres the mousie" she brings it!! not funny at midnight though!!! She doesnt like wearing her coller though keeps taking it off!!

He's a lovely cat San, isn't it lovely to have a new baby:-) I think rescue places always seem to over estimate ages, I'm sure they did with Rosie, they said she was 3-4 bit I think she was about 18 months - two years when we had her. He certainly looks very young doesn't he:-)

im sure your right born.... i really dont think he is 4, to much like a baby and his long slim body is very kitten like, if you know what i mean

he looks young for 4 doesnt he,id be jumping out of my skin with him ,my aunt years ago used to have one that used to climb up the curtains and sit on the pole lol :o))

thanx Gilli i love him being here, so full of life and fun, just been for second jab, not my usual vet, sanctuary wanted me to use theirs, so off i went and got totally lost, poor casper had an accident in his box, so you can imagine what that was like, i got upset for him and took me an hour to find the place grr, forgot my phone so couldnt call them, anyway after spotting a postman who kindly helped me we found the vet, i wasnt happy, told them im sticking to my own vet in future, got them to clean him up, had his jab and got home quick, he is ok and settled now but how awfull for casper,given him some treats and a fuss :o))

Oh dear, what a traumatic outing for you both. He'll soon forget all about it, just don't say the V E T word within his earshot ! We're on day 2 of window/door fitting and smell of sealant has made me wander round the garden for fresh air - far too cold to be out long though. Daffs shooting up, snowdrops in full bloom so things looking good.

he`s fine now megan, upstairs in the window enjoying the lovely sunshine here today, bet you will be glad when the work is finnished wont you, im enjoying seeing spring come into bloom, makes me feel a whole lot better :o))

thanx dawn, he wasnt so good after vet yeasterday, slept from 3pm till about 9.30pm lastnight, ate a bit of food then went to sleep again on our bed, i picked him up like a child and he didnt even wake, put him in his hub and slept all night, still not himself today but a bit better, not sure if its the injection or the upset of the accident he had on the way to vet, poor casper

Awww, hope he's OK now. It sounds like he doesnt like the vets then, maybe by going in the car in his basket, he thought he was going back to the rescue centre :-(( When ours had their first injection last week they were really doped and sleepy. They didnt come to life until the next day.

oh dear dawn i just answered you on your pic, lol, you can catch up on that ok, save me typing again :o) glad your little ones are ok now.

Yes, these 2 are fine, they have their second injection on 25th Feb :-((((

im sure they will be fine dawn, then will you let them out or wait till summer?

Well, Ronnie will stay at the vets that day and be neutered ouch and then Roxy is spayed a month after, so I'll let them recover and let them out maybe mid April and it will be a bit warmer then - hopefully.

its a shame what they go through but soon forgotten im sure, casper was neutered a week before i got him and is fine dawn, think by the time they are both done and recovered they will have grown quite alot so better for you to see them in garden :o))

I hope all goes well for you with your lovely rescued Casper he looks happy in his new home lucky boy :o))

Had a lie in this morning...normally feed the cats at 6.45am when I get up for work...9am this morning as no work ! An angry little face was staring at me through the kitchen window when I put the kettle on!! Went out to open back door to feed her...she spat at me as usual...then tucked in ! So se doing fine ! Lol !

Thanks San...Rays Dad is settled at home with Ray and carers looking after him ! He will be staying to make sure all is ok...back at weekend..just need peace of mind.His Dad is already ordering the carers around ! Lol. Think all will be right !
