Tt, the boots I'm wearing in pic No.6, are special boots made for broom hunting...as soon as I put them on I get a real feeling of where I might be able to find some new brooms out in the woods and forests.....wellies not much use for climbing trees....;o)

I have just realised you only live up the road from me, maybe one day I'll come for a visit. I hadn't got a glue about conifers and seeing that fantastic variety of colour, shapes and layout of the plants and trees is just simply stunning. Inherited a few conifers when moving into this house, less then 2 years ago, I am all the more fasinated by your knowledge and especially your website. Thank you you are an eye opener and it's a pleasure just to gaze at all the pictures

It's taken me ages to get here Terra and everyone has written what I would like to say, what is it about your blogs? Maybe it's all the hard work you put in to them:-)))

What an amazing blog - I am humbled; must work harder in mine, you have spurred me on. Maybe I will dig up the moss infested lawn and plant more conifers.

Blogs - they always get the better of me!! I truly admire TT for all the hard work, loving effort and time she puts into her creations - It takes me a month of Sundays just to chose which photo and THEN put it where I want it to go!!!

what a lovley garden i love peoples diversity . im not realy a conifer spruce lover but credit wear its due this is a real great balance of colour and shapes quite stunning .

BS There is something very important stopping me driving down to Dorset - well, two really, one, I have no car & two, I've never learnt to drive!!!

ever since I saw this blog last week I have been suffering from a severe case of garden envy. How many hours do you spend on the garden - I bet you will say a couple of hours a week!!!!

Maybe some of us could hire a GoY coach and visit Foxhollow....Lol.

Bluespruce could answer all our questions.... such as how long it takes to keep his garden looking so beautiful :o)

Gardenmad - depends on the time of year really...in the growing season, I'm out there nearly all my spare time, evenings and weekends. Just keeping the garden maintained takes up most of my spare time, that's why I look forward to the winter a bit more than most, because everything slows right down which gives me more time to devote to all the garden projects I constantly seem to have on the go.....a couple of hours a week ?...not a chance!!! :0)

Actually that would be a good idea TT, I'm sure there will be quite a few members who live within a couple of hours drive of BS would love to go.

Maybe we should hire a red double decker London bus...Lol.

And have Cliff as bus driver!!
